Wines Currently in the Wine Machines

(from left to right)

  1. 20,000 Leguas 2021 40% Virura/20% Chardonnay/20% Sauvignon blanc/20% Viognier (Spain): This is an orange wine. A white wine, produced using the technique of fermenting on the skins. Tropical fruits, ripe apple, orange rind, and light hazelnut. Organic. Biodynamic.

  2. Godspeed Chardonnay 2014 (California): Tropical fruit, grilled pineapple, guava, creme brulee, and toasted almonds. Crazy!, that at 10 years old, this wine has so much fruit and acidity!! Thank Mount Veeder's elevation and volcanic soils!

  3. Benchlands 2021 Zinfandel 38%/Petite Sirah 21%/Nero d'Avola 17%/Carignan 16%/Valdiguie 4%/Colombard 4% (California): Dried strawberry, summer oranges, stewed cherry, and cherry cola. Martha Stoumen is a rock star winemaker that respects the environment and employs dry farming, organic and biodynamic practices. Patience in the vineyard, minimalist winemaking interventions, and a goal to create complex, delicious wines that put California and Mother Nature at the forefront.

  4.  MORAZA 2022 Tempranillo rose (Spain):Fresh red berries, tart cherries, herbs and minerality. This one with BBQ chicken is a real winner!

  5. Monte Pio 2022 Albarino (Spain): Albarino is one of the most food friendly white wines in the world. This one is organic! Look for lemon zest, nectarine, salty citrus and pear. Pair with bbq pork dishes, anything from the ocean, tacos, and risotto!

  6. MEU 2022 Albarino (Spain): Citrus, melon notes, white flowers, and peach. You only need to look at the label to see what should be paired with this outstanding expression of Albarino!

  7. Amor de Bares 2022 Albarino/Torrontes/Loureiro/Godello/Treixadura (Spain): Tropical flowers, fresh peach, apricot, and lemon spritzer. Pair with shellfish, seafood, white sauce pasta and fish.

  8. Moraza 4 Caminos 2022 Viura (Spain): This is an orange wine. A white wine, produced using the technique of fermenting on the skins. Apricot, citrus, orange peel and clove. Organic and natural (low sulfur).

  9. Tamboerskloof Katharien 2022 Syrah (South Africa): Warm fresh strawberry, violets, red berries and spices.

  10. rosa bella 2023 Nebbiolo/Barbera/Dolcetto (Italy): Red flowers, hibiscus, rhubarb, strawberries, and minerality.

  12.  Txakoli Rosado 2023 Ondarrabi Beltza (Spain): Wild roses, warm summer raspberry, rhubarb, and refreshing minerality. This comes from the Bask region in Northern Spain. Known for having more Michelin Star restaurants per square kilometer than any other region in Europe. The Basque wines are also next level and super foodie.

  13. Buvons des fruits 2022 Cabernet Franc (France): Strawberry, red currants, sun dried green peppers, and granite. Juicy and organic!

  14. Duck Pond 2021 Pinot Noir (Oregon): Dark cherry, raspberry jam, strawberries and earthy notes. Naturally made with low interventions in the vineyard and winery.

  15. Panagiotopoulos 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon (Greece): Black fruits, stewed plum, leather, lead pencil and graphite (I am a sucker for those notes, a mineral note attributed to volcanic, gravel or granite soils).

  16. Selvaggia 2021 Barbera/Nebbiolo (Italy): Ripe dark fruits, violets, dried strawberry, food friendly tannins and a super long juicy finish. This is a super food friendly wine!

  17. ETNA 2022 Nerello Mascalese (Sicily): Floral, sour cherry, wild strawberry, and minerality derived from volcanic soils.

  18. BICHES 2020 Cabernet Franc (France): Blackberries, violets, bell pepper, pencil shavings and baking spices. Organic.

  19. BAROSSA INK 2021 Shiraz (Australia): Dark fruits, stewed raspberries, blueberry jam, chocolate, and a nice mint note on the finish (if you taste this note in a wine, the wine is from Australia).

  20. Cortes Do Tua 2021 Touriga Nacional/Touriga Franca/Tinta Roriz (Classic Northern Portugal Blend): Look for stewed black fruit, violets, black cherry, and plum. From the Duro Valley DOC, another very high achieving red from this amazing appellation. Pair with anything off the BBQ!

  21. Monile Valpolicella Ripasso 2019 Corvina 60%/Rondinella 40% (Italy): Made with the "Ripasso" method. Basically fermenting the wine on the dried grapes used to produce Amarone. This adds an expanded aroma, flavor profile and extra body. Look for ripe dark fruits, sweet spice, tobacco, and earthy notes.

  22. Bourgogne 2022 Pinot Noir (France): McDonald's cherry pie (remember those beauties?), cranberry, mushroom and forest floor.

  23. Chateau Bujan 2020 Merlot 75%/Cabernet Franc 24%/Cabernet Sauvignon 1% (France): Dark plum, wild berries, earth notes, graphite (mineral note) and smoke.

  24. Sot 2021 Nebbiolo (Italy): Rose flower, raspberries, leather and herbs.
