The Introvert 2021 Chardonnay (California): Citrus, white flowers, nectarine and a creamy lemon.

-
Jardin Cold Fact 2023 Sauvignon Blanc (South Africa): Tropical fruits, fresh pineapple, ripe melon, citrus, and wild herbs.
-
Beausoleil Rose 2023 60% Grenache/40% Cinsaut (France): From the Micheline star restaurant in London, the originators of the Snout to Tail movement. This wine comes from their vineyards in the south of France. Look for a very food friendly (low sugar) rose expressing red fruits, strawberries, watermelon, and a delicious salinity in the finish (also food friendly).
-
Chateau Gabaron 2023 Sauvignon Blanc/Semion (France): Fantastic example of Bordeaux white. Fresh crisp grapefruit, citrus, orange zest, figs, and lemon butter. This wine will pair well with everything from pasta to animal proteins. If you think a white wine can't pair with fatty seared meat, this one will change your mind, try it!
-
Sindicat La Figuera 2022 Garnacha (Spain): Wild cherries, strawberries, dried, cranberry, leather, and earthy notes.
-
de herder 2020 60% Shiraz/ 29% Cinsaut/11% Mourvedre (South Africa): Sour cherry, black berry, thyme, vanilla, earthy gravel, and cigar box.
-
Cinco Sentidos Reserva 2017 Malbec (Argentina): Plum, ripe black fruits, black cherry, coffee and tabaco. For me, this is the perfect BBQ wine!
-
Big Fork Red 2020 92% Cabernet Franc/8%Merlot (Ontario): Strawberry, raspberry, blackberry, dried fruits, and tobacco.
-
Panagiotopoulos 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon (Greece): Black fruits, cassis, plum, gravel, earth, leather (in a good way) and graphite. At 11 years old this wine still shows impressive fruit!
-
St. John CLARET 2020 (France): Dark red fruit, plum, anise, vanilla and pencil shavings.
-
Fogolar Cabernet Franc 2021 (Ontario): From Marc Pistor. Look for cranberry, blackberry, dark fruits, vanilla and baking spices. Pair with tomato sauce dishes, pizza or my favorite BBQ!
-
Dragon Rosso 2023 Dolcetto/Nebbiolo/Barbera (Italy) Roses, cherry, blueberry, red berries, dark plum, and a fantastic sense of mushroom and earth. Even if you hate mushrooms, this is in a good way! Why is this cool? Its all about food, and our friends in Italy have absolutely dialed in what food friendly wine is. Salty and fatty food, we have a winner of a pairing!
-
Montrodo Negre 2022 Merlot/Grencache (Spain): Wild red berries, currents, cassis, barnyard (in a good way lol) and stone earth.
-
Novellum 2020 Tempranillo (Spain): Because the Toro region has a hotter growing season, this is a bigger wine than Rioja! Look for black berry, stewed cherry, balsamic notes, spices, and caramelized toffee.
-
Mille Roses 2020 Bordeaux Blend (France): Black fruits, leather, ginger, blackberry, oak notes, and herbs.
-
Barisel 2023 Barbera D'Asti (Italy): Black cherry, blueberry, raspberry, and herbs. So food friendly! Step one, think of what you want to eat. Step two, pair that food with this wine!
-
Dido "la Universal" 2021 Grenache/Syrah/Merlot/Cabernet Sauvignon (Spain): Red berries, cranberries, roses, raspberry, and spices. Organic.
-
Leyre Loup Morgon 2019 Gamay Noir (France): Ripe cherry, blackcurrants, plum, and some forest notes.
-
RIPPON 2019 Pinot Noir (New Zealand): Wild cherry, ripe red currents, blueberry, river stones, and hints of forest mushroom. Central Otago is one of the most distinctive Pinot Noir regions in the world. Hard to find and the style is all New Zealand.
-
Barco Reale di Carmignano 2020 Sangiovese 75%/Cabernet Sauvignon 15%/Cabernet Franc 5%/Canaiolo 5% (Italy): A superb foodie wine. Sangiovese has a very wide umbrella of pairing. Look for bright red berries, including raspberry and cherry. Herbaceous notes of bergamot and black tea.
